Good morning, everyone! It's time for our Monday Spotlight! Today we're reviewing the details about our Lemon & Tea Tree bar of soap!
This bar, previously known as Lemon Zest, has become one of our most popular soaps. It's gone through a few changes, including it's name and the ingredients in it.
So why is it not called Lemon Zest anymore? When we first introduced the soap, it contained real lemon zest. Lemon peels do have their benefits, but over time we decided Brandy's arms needed a break from all that zesting!
Instead, we began using yellow Brazilian clay. This clay is known to detoxify the skin and because of the sandy texture it makes an amazing gentle exfoliant.
We also began to add an increased amount of tea tree essential oil. Tea tree is used in a few of our products because it helps sooth dry skin and is especially nice for the face.
